The Making Of E-WallPaper

The title that we get for our E-wallpaper is Faculty Of Management(FOM) Open Day. So I decided to show some physical appearance of our FOM building from internal and external. With a basic knowledge that I have now, I will combine some photos that I choose, and do some adjustment to create a E-wallpaper. I will show all the steps that show my process of E-wallpaper.

Step1

File > Open. Open the photo file that I took myself as my background for E-wallpaper.

Step2

I created a duplicate layer for my background layer.

Step3

On the duplicate background later, I adjust the capacity to 27% and put satin effect on it.

Step4

After that, I started to add some photos. 1st photo I added is our FOM tutorial room. I scale it and make it smaller and then adjust the capacity to 59%.

Step5

2nd photo I added is our FOM Building front View. I scale it and make it smaller, and then adjust capacity to 64%, and I set the blending mode of layer is Exclusion.

Step6

3rd photo I added is our FOM internal corridor infront of our Management Office. I scale it and make it smaller, then adjust capacity to 40%. The blending mode of layer is Hard Light.

Step7

4th photo that I added is our FOM Building walkway. I scale it and make it smaller than my background but larger than other three photos. Capacity adjusted to 55% and blending mode is Subtract.

Step8

After that, I choose Horizontal Type Tool to enter words that I need for the E-wallpaper. 1st is Multimedia University. I choose Cracked as my words style, and blending mode of layer is Soft Light.

Step9

Done with our university name, and then I added a logo of our university that I search from Goggle and put it in between "Multimedia University". I adjust the capacity to 29% and choose Soft Light as my blending mode of my layer.

Step10

I choose Horizontal Type Tool again to enter words that I need for this step. "Welcome" with Tekton Pro word style and "FOM Open Day" with Cracked word style. I set Linear Light as my blending mode for this layer.

Step11

After that I enter the date of open day with Horizontal Type Tool with Cracked word style. Blending mode of this layer is Colour Dodge.

Last step for my E-wallpaper is adjust my image size to A4 size (Width: 297mm & Height: 210mm_Landscape). That all for my E-wallpaper. I never learn Photoshop before until I learn it from Digital Media 1 class. It quite interesting and I will try to do it better in future.
